Using ancient anilines on compact and super smooth surfaces, the pigment runs in the wet, creating deep colours and glassy glazes. Thus the painting loses the fixity of the sign and moves, “from one moment to the next I expect I hear voices and noises”. The size is fundamental: small because the brushstroke must not have time to define itself. Each work is unique.
